Participants will gain insight into how their behaviours, as well as those of their organisations, can influence sustainability outcomes. The curriculum encompasses key topics related to environmental, social, governance and economic dimensions of sustainability, aligning with the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter of Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Customised to meet your specific needs, the SFE Course delivers tailored insights and support to your executive team, equipping them to make well-informed decisions that benefit people, profits and the planet. This program offers comprehensive coverage of the SDGs, along with practical guidance for implementing sustainable guidelines within corporate environments. Additionally, it delves into the business rationale and economic ramifications of adopting sustainable practices, empowering your executives to drive positive change within your organisation.

Students of Ramaiah Institute of Management (MSRIM), took action with a three-month “Save Water, Save Bengaluru” campaign under the Centre for Sustainability – Sahayan Club. Starting on January 19th, we worked tirelessly to spread awareness about water conservation to locals and restaurants across Mathikere. They divided efforts into three phases: medium-sized restaurants, hostels/PGs, and top restaurants. They placed posters conveying clear messages about water conservation, encouraging visitors to grasp the significance of water, especially after Bengaluru’s recent water crisis. These posters outlined practical steps for daily water savings and featured inspiring quotes to influence people’s mindset on the importance of conserving water. One notable initiative was to encourage restaurants to serve water only when requested by customers, helping save water drop by drop, because every drop counts. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many restaurant owners  and patrons  appreciating  efforts and allowing students to display their posters

Students from Sahayan Club were delighted to host Ms. Disha L Dinesha, a Ph.D. student at the Department of Management Studies, IISc, for  “Student Samvad” on December 13, 2023.
